First part was the 'getting to know' of the two families via a riverside barbecue. Chopping the wood by the bride and groom is a traditional start to proceedings.
The next morning, some of the guests trekked up to the picturesque setting of Lake Klamsee following a steep climb up through the gorge on a wooden walkway.
The wedding, in the afternoon, was in a beautiful chapel in the centre of Kaprun followed by a "Game of Thrones' setting for the reception at the nearby castle on the hill.
